Dead Air EP

Bad Reception’s first release, Dead Air, is a five-song introduction built to be played loud. Driven by raw guitars, hard-hitting drums, sharp pop-punk hooks, and Riley Carter’s unmistakable vocals, the EP captures the restless energy and emotional immediacy at the heart of the band’s sound. Beneath the volume is a record about small-town frustration, fighting to be heard, broken relationships, bad timing, loss, and refusing to disappear when everything changes. Defiant, melodic, and unapologetically personal, Dead Air introduced Bad Reception with the volume already turned all the way up.
